The Millennium Atlas produced by Scotprint on behalf of Lovell_Johns has picked up three prestigious awards. At the International Map Trade Association Global Conference and Trade Show in Tours, France it beat 84 other entries to win first prize in the Best Atlas Category and then went on to win the CHK Cup, as the competitions overall winner.

The Millennium Atlas also had the honour of winning the British Cartographic Society John Bartholomew Award for excellence in small-scale thematic cartography for 2003.

The Atlas, which had to be hand bound was produced computer to plate on Scotprint's KBA four colour press and weighs in at 12 kilos!

Scotprint have recently produced one of the world’s largest atlases.

The size is 603 x 435 and weighs in at 11 kilos. The atlas was produced computer to plate in conjunction with Oxfordshire based Lovell Johns on behalf of the British Geological Society.
